Hailing from Florida's 10th District, State Senator Jason Brodeur was inspired to run for office by his desire to give back to his community. One thing he wishes people knew about his job is that he and his colleagues enjoy reading through proposed bills, taking ample time to carefully consider them.

For Brodeur, the hardest part of his job is telling his colleagues when he disagrees with them. One thing he would say his district does better than anywhere else is support a great quality of life.

Brodeur's first job was working at Kmart. His favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption.
