Humidity will be on the rise the next couple of days before the next cold front approaches.

Thursday will feature increasing clouds with a 30 percent coverage of scattered showers, especially later in the day.

Highs will be in the mid 80s. The winds will be breezy in the morning from the east, but then go very light from the west in the afternoon.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a few scattered showers. Lows will be in the 70s.

Friday will feature a breezy wind from the southwest off the gulf. As a result, it will be more humid, but that wind direction will also keep our highs from getting too warm. Highs will mainly stop in the low to mid 80s.

Friday will be our best rain chance day, with a 60 percent coverage of scattered showers, especially in the afternoon to early evening as the next cold front nears the area.

Most of the showers will exit Friday evening, but there could be a few lingering sprinkles.

The next blast of drier, less humid air will move in Saturday with a northwest wind. There will be some lingering clouds that day, but it will feel fantastic as highs will be in the 70s.

Saturday night will be cooler, with lows in the 50s to low 60s.

Sunday will wrap up the weekend on a nice note, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s to near 80.

Just as the humidity tries to increase on Monday, another cold front will sweep through.

There will only be a small chance of a shower with its passage. Highs will be in the low 80s that day.

Behind that front will be a refreshing blast of drier, cooler air again for Tuesday.
