The NFL season may be over but you don't have to wait until next fall to watch football.

On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Vipers will kick off their XFL season.

The league made its debut on Saturday and continues today with two more games, including the Vipers at the New York Guardians.

The teams will square off at Met Life Stadium.

While the Vipers have had a pre-season scrimmage against the Guardians, there's a lot of unknowns as both teams prepare for their first game.

Viper’s Head Coach Marc Trestman is eager to find out more about his players during live-game action.

“This is our first opportunity to find out and measure who we are and where we are and wherever we are,” said Trestman, who has coached in the NFL and CFL. “We obviously are going to have a chance to get better along the way. It will give us a measuring stick against what we already found out will be a very competitive team.”

Kickoff is schedule for 2 p.m. and will be televised on Fox.
