TOWN 'N' COUNTRY, Fla. – Firefighters worked Sunday afternoon to extinguish a brush fire in the Town 'n' Country area near Tampa.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to an area near Linebaugh Avenue and Eagle Trail Drive after reports of a large brush fire behind several buildings.

At one point, the 10-acre fire begin to threaten the Lumber Specialties lumber yard, according to authorities. Crews spent two hours fighting the blaze with brush trucks, engines and an aerial Bambi bucket. 

The fire was extinguished and no buildings were damaged, fire rescue officials said. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
