ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The cold front that brought some gusty storms yesterday is well south of the area and that has led to a rather cool afternoon.

Temperatures have been a good 20 degrees cooler compared to yesterday across the Bay area. The cool down is short-lived as the warmth and humidity make a comeback tomorrow.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a few showers. Temperatures won’t fall much with lows in the 60's.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop tomorrow as temperatures return to the 80's. You will also notice a slight uptick in the humidity, too.

This weekend is looking to be warm once again. High temperatures will range from the mid to upper 80's.

There will also be enough energy in the atmosphere to trigger a few thunderstorms, especially on Saturday.

Winds will kick up a bit on Sunday ahead of the next disturbance and become windy on Monday. We may see a few gusty storms Monday afternoon.
