ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Thursday will be one of those rare days where cool air makes it all the way into the region.

On a breezy north wind, high temperatures won’t get out of the 70's, which is rare for May in Florida.  Skies will be sunny and humidity will be much lower, making it feel fantastic.

Thursday night into Friday morning will be cooler with lows in the 50's, and even some upper 40's in parts of Citrus and Hernando County.

Friday will be sunny with highs in the low 80's.

Saturday will be mainly dry with only a 10 percent chance of a shower.  Highs will be in the mid 80's.

A low pressure moving by to our south will spread moisture across the region on Sunday, so the rain chance will be at 60 percent here locally.  Highs will be in the 70's.
