PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Multiple teachers in Pasco County have been placed on leave while a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation takes place.
According to Bay News 9’s partner newspaper the Tampa Bay Times, the investigation involves a fraud case.
No teachers' names have been released and FDLE officials said currently, only Hudson High School teachers are involved.
The investigation stems from a complaint issued in April, FDLE officials said.
The FDLE also said no children are alleged to have been physically harmed.
The investigation is in the information-gathering stage and will be ongoing, officials said.
