HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators say a 35-year-old mother and her 6-month-old son were killed in a four-vehicle crash Monday morning on U.S. 19 in Hernando County.

All lanes of U.S. 19 remain closed at Berkeley Manor Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol urges drivers to use alternate routes. 

Officials are also asking anyone who witnessed the crash or a previous crash involving a maroon 2014 Chevrolet 4-door pickup, to call FHP at 813-558-1800.
