ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Rays bid at history Thursday included a fan attending her first game — at 106 years old.

Agnes Ingles of St. Petersburg was at Tropicana Field to watch her first game.

She met with Rays managers Kevin Cash, said "play ball" to start the game and sat in a suite to watch the Rays battle the Boston Red Sox.

The Rays won, 9-6, to start the season 13-0.
