CLEARWATER, Fla. — A 47-year-old man was found dead inside of an apartment after a shooting that occurred in Clearwater Friday night, police said.
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department both responded to a shooting just after 11 p.m. at Highland Park Apartments. Officials said they found the man and a woman, who was shot in the leg.
She was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Officials said the shooting happened during an altercation inside the apartment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
