TAMPA, Fla. — A man suspected of DUI is facing charges after a fatal crash on Dale Mabry Highway Tuesday night that also damaged a building.
According to Tampa police, officers responded to the 700 block of North Dale Mabry Highway just after 9:30 p.m. where a driver struck the exterior of a restaurant building, causing property damage.

According to police, 30-year-old Angel Manuel Molina was speeding when he made a lane change. His car slid off the road, hit a power pole and then ran over a man police said was sleeping near the restaurant parking lot.
The vehicle then struck the building.
Sky 9 flew over the crash scene early Wednesday, showing damage to the outside of the restaurant. Police said they found a man dead, adding he died as a result of his injuries.
Witnesses reported to police the driver removed a can of an alcoholic beverage from the vehicle prior to the arrival of officers. When officers made contact with the driver, they noticed visible signs of impairment.
Molina is facing charges of DUI manslaughter, driving while license suspended and DUI with property damage.
The southbound lanes of North Dale Mabry were closed near Cypress Avenue for several hours after the crash.
