TAMPA, Fla. — Several businesses in Tampa are offering deals and specials on Tuesday in honor of 813 Day.

Named after Tampa's area code, 813 Day is held annually on Aug. 13, and is a way for residents to show love for the community.

The county is celebrating with a "Taste of 813" tour, highlighting different recipes and flavors in the area. Restaurants featured on the tour are:

Sparkman Wharf is also getting in on the fun by hosting a fundraiser supporting the Tampa Bay History Center. The venue will donate $5 (up to $1,000) for every photo taken in front of the decorated "Sparkman Wharf TAMPA" sign, posted on social media now through Aug. 18. Various restaurants in and around Sparkman Wharf will also be having menu specials for $8.13. 

The Tampa Bay Rays will be having a home game against the Houston Astros on 813 Day. The first pitch is at 6:50 p.m. and tickets can be purchased on MLB's website
