TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police are investigating a fatal overnight shooting.

According to police, officers responded just after 9 p.m. Monday to reports of shots fired in the 1600 block of east 24th Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with upper body injuries. Lifesaving measures were performed but that man later died.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
