B.B Roberts is getting his group ready for another early morning workout at Cypress Creek High School in Wesley Chapel. Most of the athletes that he trains are college bound, but among this group that has gathered today, is 6-year-old Seth Williamson.

This summer Seth competed in the AAU Primary Nationals in Orlando, the biggest track meet for kids 6 and under,  running against competitors from all over  the globe where he took gold in both the 55 and 100 meters, posting the fastest times in the country in both events.

"I was nervous, because there were a lot of fast kids out there " Said Seth's dad Dwight who actually had to convince coach Roberts last year to let his then five-year old son join this club full of older athletes.

Seth has fit right in with the older kids and coach Roberts has been impressed at how he has handled all of the information he has been given.

"He can definitely pick this stuff up, Says Roberts, I can tell my college kids one thing, he’ll pick it up just like that as well, that’s special, that’s very special for a young man his age".

At home, Seth is a student of the game, constantly watching track stars like Usain Bolt and American Trayvon Browmell.

Seth's dad played football and ran track in high school in Miami and had young Seth running with his older sisters as early as four years old, that's when he knew he had something special.

As the competition gets tougher and Seth continues to compete in bigger and bigger events at his young age, Coach BB has had a simple plan for the six year old since the first day he worked out with the Speed Starz club.

"From day one it’s always to have fun, Says Coach Roberts If I just teach kids just to win races and get medals, I failed my job as a coach, I like to teach life lessons as well and be a better person off the track".

For Seth, it’s simple, he loves to run, and he loves to win medals and he hopes some day, one of his many gold medals is Olympic gold.
