ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Rays will open the 2024 season at home against the Toronto Blue Jays from March 28 to March 31, followed by a three-game series against the Texas Rangers from April 1 to April 3, the team announced Thursday.

The Rays end the season on a six-game road trip to Detroit from Sept. 24-26 and Boston from Sept. 27 to Sept. 29.

The Rays have six home games and seven road games against the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. The home games against the Yankees will be May 10-12 and July 9-11. They will play host to the Red Sox on May 20-22 and Sept. 17-19.

Tampa Bay will play interleague home games against the San Francisco Giants (April 12-14), New York Mets (May 3-5), Chicago Cubs (June 11-13), Washington Nationals (June 28-30), Cincinnati Reds (July 26-28), Miami Marlins (July 30-31), Arizona Diamondbacks (August 16-18) and San Diego Padres (August 30-September 1).

Major League Baseball also announced that the Rays have been selected to participate in a MLB World Tour series during spring training. The Dominican Republic Series will be against the Boston Red Sox on March 9 and 10 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
