This isn’t the first time the park has teased that a new attraction is on the way. Last month, the park posted on Twitter that “Thrills are on the rise” along with the hashtag, #NewThrillBGT.
Although the park hasn’t officially announced what it’s working on, it’s believed that the new attraction is a giant pendulum-style swing ride similar to ones at SeaWorld San Antonio and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
The attraction is being built on the site of the park’s former Rhino Rally attraction. Back in 2019, Busch Gardens filed permits for something named “BGT Project Jethro,” which called for work in that area of the park.
Whatever the new attraction ends up being, it will join a lineup that includes other thrill rides such as Iron Gwazi, Tigris and Cheetah Hunt.
