The attraction, which has been closed for years, began running again on Friday.
The SkyRide gondolas are suspended 50 feet in the air and take visitors over the park’s Serengeti Plain into the Stanleyville area.
The ride, which has been at the park since 1974, now costs $5 per trip—from Stanleyville station to Cheetah Hunt Plaza or from the Cheetah Hunt Plaza to Stanleyville station—although it’s free for passholders. Tickets can be purchased only at the boarding stations in Stanleyville and Cheetah Hunt Plaza.
Riders need to be 56 inches tall or accompanied by a “supervising companion”—someone who is over 56 inches and at least 14 years of age.
Skyride operates from park opening until dusk, weather permitting, according to Busch Gardens.
