ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures dipping into the upper 50's to upper 60's, coolest north.

Wednesday will start off with mostly sunny skies then clouds will increase through the afternoon and evening. The humidity will increase through the day, too.

High temperatures will peak in the mid to upper 80's Wednesday afternoon.

An approaching front will increase rain chances late Wednesday night and Thursday. We anticipate another line of thunderstorms to move onshore Thursday.

Some of the storms could be strong with gusty winds. The rain chance is 50 percent.

It will turn cooler and less humid behind the storms on Friday. Temperatures will max out near 80 degrees.

Dry conditions will continue through the weekend. Expect lots of sun and seasonable weather.
