LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno took a tour of Lee County on Thursday morning to begin assessing damage caused by Hurricane Ian.
The aftermath shows significant structural damage and flooding across the area.
“We are devastated,” the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Our hearts go out to every resident who is impacted. The Lee County Sheriffs Office is mobile and will stop at nothing to help our residents.
We will get through this together. We are one community and we will overcome this tragedy.”
