Google Maps began the process of changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America after a recent executive order signed by President Donald Trump made the name change official.

It is now labeling it the Gulf of America.

According to Google, people using Maps in the U.S. will see "Gulf of America," and people in Mexico will see "Gulf of Mexico."

Google says everyone else will see both names "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)."

Currently on the app-based version of the map, when the Gulf is viewed zoomed in in the U.S., the label shows as Gulf of America, but when viewed further out, the label changes to "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)."

Google says it changed the name on its map when the government updated its official sources after Trump signed the order last month.

Google said that people in Mexico will still see the Gulf of Mexico label.

Trump also changed the name of of Mount Denali in Alaska back to Mount McKinley.

Google says it will make that change too, but hasn’t yet.
