JUST IN: Tampa International Airport announced that it will close to the public at 2 a.m. Thursday and "reopen when it is safe to do so." The airport said residents should check directly with airlines for flight updates.

JUST IN: The St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport Terminal building will close after the last flight arrives on Wednesday, September 25. The airport plans to reopen on Friday, September 27.

Wednesday September 25 – All Allegiant flights operating as scheduled.

Thursday, September 26 – All Allegiant flights cancelled.

Friday, September 27 – Airport plans to reopen Friday morning. Contact airlines for flight information.
